We’re Jayce and Matt, proud husbands, lifelong animal people, and the founders of Siratsa Cats, Australia’s most established and respected Scottish Fold breeders in Australia.
Siratsa Cats began in 2007 as a passion project and quickly became a life’s work. What started as a small hobby has grown into a carefully run, family-owned cattery known for ethical breeding, exceptional temperament, and unwavering care.

Today, Siratsa operates as part of Siratsa Pty Ltd, a registered QICC Scottish Fold cattery based in the beautiful South Burnett region of Queensland, Australia.

Our story

Our home has always been full of life, cats under our roof, dogs at our feet, horses in the paddocks and plenty of feathered chaos outside. Every animal here is part of the family. They’re not “stock”, and they’re never treated that way. They share our days, our routines, our couch (not the horses!), our windows, and our hearts.

At Siratsa Cats, we believe that being a responsible Scottish Fold breeder means putting welfare first, always. Every breeding decision is guided by health, temperament, and long-term wellbeing. We deliberately limit numbers, prioritise education, and support our kitten families well beyond adoption day.

How our cats are raised

Our queens live with us as family pets, surrounded by normal household life conversation, vacuums, music, visitors, routines, and the everyday “busy” that creates confident, adaptable kittens. Our kittens are handled from the earliest days. They’re cuddled, spoken to, and raised in the rhythm of a real home, so when they leave, they leave ready.
