This year we decided not to send any of our horses to the large auction sales despite them being accepted. We have decided to try something a little different with a
St8outa the Paddock Sale, no fancy photoshoots, no retouching, no sales prep done, no fattening and shining up for an overpriced auction ring,
(Heaven for bid some yearlings even have a winter coat! Haha-ha)
Big auction sales with premium sale prices more often than not results with a zero return on investment and a massive financial loss to all connections. This is a chance for people who are underbidders on horses that have been overpaid for by large trainers and sydnications groups at auction sales to still purchase quality horses from stallions they beleive in for a fraction of the cost, minimising risk and giving their investment every opportunity to at least pay for itself or become a huge success. All we want is to pay our bill with a fair price and do the best by our horses and buyers.
